Updates:
The Sixt team reached out to me after my original review and acknowledged their oversight. I was eventually refunded for a one-day charge.
Overall, if you don’t have too much luggage, taking a shuttle to this location seems like a reasonable trade-off for the slightly lower prices than the main rental counters at the airport.
It would have been nice if there were a snow brush in the car.
--------------------------------------------
I originally booked a vehicle for 6 days from 2pm to 2pm. A lady at the counter told me that I can return by 3pm on the last day without extra charge, and I signed the price for 6 days. After returning car by 3pm, I found out that I was charged for 7 days instead of 6 days. I met another representive, who relunctantly said that a manager would call me and handle this issue. There were no calls, no followups and no explanation.
I was already asked to up the price and upgrade my booking to a fullsize SUV because this location ran out of AWD SUVs in midsize. Then they charged me an extra day for miscommunication issues on their end.
Truly the most terrible car renting experience I've ever had. Not to mention that to get to this place, you need to exit from the main terminal to the rental parking garage, walk through a lot full of other rental cars, wait for a shuttle, carry all your luggages to the shuttle, then ride 5min by highway to the rental location.
