Please note, due to construction and traffic patterns, our shuttle bus service may be delayed.

Navigate to our SIXT branch at 9000 Bellanca Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90045. Once you arrive, pull into the return area, where a SIXT agent will be there to collect your key and assist with your return. Please note that our airport shuttles only run during regular business hours. If you are returning outside of business hours, please lock your vehicle and leave the key with our security guard. Traffic going to and around Los Angeles International Airport is normally quite heavy. Please ensure enough time when returning your vehicle.

Buses operate every 15-20 minutes and you can track it with our SIXT shuttle tracker. Once you’re in your LAX hire car – it’s only a half-hour drive to downtown.

What to do in LA with your car hire

Although there is public transport, LA is very widespread with a vast network of roads and highways and most people would recommend having your own form of transport. This way you can cruise to popular places like Hollywood Boulevard and see iconic locations like the Chinese Theatre. You can also take the car out to the Getty Museum, which is an incredible art gallery with amazing views. If you want to stretch your legs, consider driving to the foot of the Hollywood sign and hiking your way up to it.

Everything was above expectations. Check in and check out were fast and simple, shuttle to the airport was also easy. 24hr checkout and shuttle was a plus since we had a very early flight out. I was hesitant going with a company I have never heard of before (I am from Canada) but I am so glad I went with Sixt instead of the typical large rental companies. I will always look to book with them in the future if travelling to a place they service
