On arrival, please leave the terminal building turning right and follow the purple signs with a picture of a car and a set of keys to the car rental pick up point in the short stay car park. There is a clearly marked walking route and shelter. Look out for the branded orange SIXT bus and staff in SIXT uniform. We do our best to monitor flight arrivals throughout the day. If you cannot see SIXT staff or the shuttle bus, you can call the shuttle bus to come to the airport by ringing +44-7714691267 on arrival. Return information

SIXT is located in Dalcross Industrial Estate, immediately next to Inverness Airport. From the A96 from either Inverness or Aberdeen direction, follow the main sign posted route to Inverness Airport. At the main airport roundabout, take the first left instead of entering the short stay car park. Then take the next right into Dalcross Industrial Estate. You will see the SIXT branch straight ahead at the end of the road clearly sign posted. After you return your car run a complimentary shuttle bus to the airport which is only 0.6 miles (2 minutes) away. SIXT's location at Inverness Airport

A free SIXT shuttle will drive you the 2 minutes from INV to the collection point in the short stay car park. Our SIXT staff will even meet you at Arrivals to help you to the shuttle with your luggage. Alternatively, you can walk the to the collection point, following the directions on the clearly marked route. The car hire return point is different, and you will need to take your car to the Dalcross Industrial Estate, immediately adjacent to the airport and look for the orange SIXT sign. From there, the shuttle bus will take you straight to Departures.

Amazing staff (thanks, Remi!) and stuff! I booked a Mercedes C-Class but ended up with a BMW 530, with only about 10,000 miles—great condition. The hire price was fair, though I passed on the full waiver as it was pricey (around 50% of the rental cost). I think I would’ve preferred the Mercedes; the BMW’s controls drove me nuts! It lacked adaptive cruise control, which would have saved me a lot of hassle during the M6 closure, turning my journey into a 9-hour drive. Adjusting the headlights also felt like a job for Sherlock Holmes!
