Your way to SIXT: After leaving the Airport arrival area please keep right and follow the signs to the car rental area where you will find our SIXT counter on the left side. airport car park, which is approximately a 2 minute bus ride away from the airport.

By car

On the A1 motorway, please keep left to stay on A1 and follow the signs for IC2/Porto-Arrábida/Gaia Centro/IC1/V.na Castelo. Take the IC1 exit toward V.na Castelo/Aeroporto, Keep left and merge onto A28/IC1. On the A28 motorway, opt to take exit 1 to merge onto A4 toward Vila Real/Aeroporto/Zona Portuária Leixões (Carga). Use the right 2 lanes to take the exit nº 3 for VRI toward Aeroporto/Zona Portuária Leixões/A28/Viana C.lo. Continue onto the VRI and use the right 2 lanes to take the exit towards the Airport. You will find the Porto International Airport on your left.

Our SIXT branch has an exclusive car return area for your vehicle delivery. The parking is directly located at our CAR RETURN SIXT AIRPORT BRANCH.

Return information

Please follow the signs to the airport car return area where you will find our SIXT car park. After returning your SIXT vehicle our shuttle service will return you to the departure area of Porto airport. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the time you would like to be at your terminal.

It's rare I give 5 stars to a car hire company but Sixt Porto airport deserves it. The van that collects you is spotless. The lady at reception (Bruno I think) was lovely. So friendly and happy and explained everything completely. No hard sell for extra insurance which I had already. The car a VW was spotless. Easy and quick to drop the car back and no delays dropping me back to the airport. Everything was so clean and well run.
