Whatever you do if you travel to Iceland - do NOT take a taxi!!! $53 CAD or $5300 ISK for 2.5 km to hotel quickly changes your travel plans. I went on Priceline and ended up getting a car at SIXT for $30 a day. Only issue was I had a limit of 400 km over 2 days. So we stayed local to Keflavík and Reykjavik as well as the Blue Lagoon. No regrets!

Great experience, friendly staff, great car selection. Easy walk from the terminal or can take a shuttle. Note that they are not open till 6am.
