we had a good experience with SixT @ Garmisch-Pasrtenkirchen.
The customer service person was quick and efficient with the rental setup. We booked a premium vehicle BMW/Audi through the site, and received vehicle of similar size/segment BMW.
The key drop off and confirmation was an easy process.

Couldn't ask for a more easy to work with/ pickup & drop off car rental place. The fella behind the desk spoke good english which worked out well. Paperwork was simple. International drivers license wasn't necessary for Germany but other countries, for your own precaution worth getting. Car hired was: Peugeot 2008, small suv, plenty for my needs. Fuel effcient, gps, clean inside and out. I'd recommend to hire from these guys for sure.
