I highly recommend renting a Sixt car if you are in the center of Paris. The branch is easy to access and even open on Sunday morning. The staff is very friendly.

In the last few months, respectively two years, I have already been there several times to rent or return cars and I wanted to summarise my experiences briefly, just as well because of divergent reports here. Good opening hours – 7 days/week, also at weekends and on bank holidays. Very friendly and very good service. Apart from French (advantageous…😉), everything is also possible in English. The cars are in good condition, often you get an upgrade. Easy pick-up (from the underground car park “Saemes Parking Rivoli-Sébastopol”, 4 min. walk away) and also return there (24/7). One-way rentals are also possible. If you are picking up a larger car and are not so comfortable with the narrow exit of the underground car park, you might want to have the car driven out when you pick it up 😉. In summary: very glad to come back there again!

I rented a car from this location in 2021 and getting ready to book another 30 day rental this week. The people I dealt with picking up, and returning, bent over backwards to accommodate me. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the car was a Ford Kuga and not the Peugeot 308 I booked, car was dirty inside and out, and had German license plates. Do not plan on driving throughout the French countryside with German plates
