100m by foot. Go out of the station's main concourse and cross the Place du Général de Gaulle (square in front of the station). Turn right after the glass lifts and go along Rue François de Curel. The branch is located on the street corner.

By car

Join Metz Quartier Gare, on downtown. The entrance to the underground Urbis Charles de Gaulle car park is located at 9 rue Gambetta, next to the historic Metz Grande Poste (red building). An orange sign also indicates the entrance.

With public transportation

From Gare de Metz: Exit through the main station hall to Place du General de Gaulle. Go to the blue canopy then go to your right past the latter. You will see the SIXT branch in front of you, it is located at the corner of the street François de Curel, number 12.

I had booked a car in advance for a week on the Rentalcars website, and the site indicated that the car would be a Citroën C4. When I arrived, I was told that there was no such car available, and the only car in that class was a Fiat 500. The manager offered me to pay extra and take a diesel Audi A3 instead. I agreed, and I didn't regret it—the car was fantastic. Unfortunately, on the 7th day of the rental, I got a flat tire and had to call assistance and wait for a tow truck. The car was taken to a parking lot, and my rental ended a bit earlier than it was supposed to. I was supposed to return the car with a full tank of diesel, but at the time of the incident, it only had half a tank. In the end, not only did they refund my deposit, but they also refunded the extra amount I paid for the higher-class car, didn't charge me for the fuel, and the flat tire was covered by the insurance. I was pleasantly surprised by this outcome and will definitely use the company's services in the future. And by the way, they accept debit cards, which is really cool.
